National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation launches online platform for laboratories proficiency testing programs

In February 2020, a unified online platform of the national accreditation system “Laboratories Proficiency Testing Program” began to operate in Russia.

The resource was created with the aim of developing a national accreditation system (NAS) and providing laboratories with up-to-date and complete information on proficiency testing programs, organizing interlaboratory comparison (ILC) programs with the joint participation of Russian and foreign laboratories.

The platform contains data on planned and ongoing ILC programs in the Russian Federation by 18 interlaboratory comparison providers accredited in the national accreditation system for compliance with the requirements of  the national standart GOST ISO / IEC 17043-2013 “Conformity assessment. Basic requirements for proficiency testing”.

Currently, the platform provides everyone with access to data on ongoing and planned laboratories proficiency testing programs for 2020, gives users the opportunity to send applications for participation, as well as submit an application for the formation of a new program based on indicators of measurements tests, studies and objects of interest.

The plans of the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation include launching facilities and services that allow users to work in their personal accounts.
