RusAccreditation takes part in the discussion of measures to counter the illegal circulation of packaged drinking water
On July 17, Dmitry Gogolev, Deputy Head of RusAccreditation, took part in a meeting in the Federation Council on measures aimed at countering the illegal circulation of packaged drinking water, including natural mineral water. Dmitry Gogolev noted that information on the results of laboratory tests including packaged drinking water was included in the register of declarations of conformity of RusAccreditation and was available to regulatory agencies. In accordance with national standards and technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, drinking water, including packaged, must be declared. In order to declare natural mineral water, laboratory tests are carried out, the results of which are included in the protocol. TParticipants of the event considered the issues of forming a database of reference samples and an identification system for all types of packaged drinking water, including natural mineral water. They discussed issues of taxation of the activities of economic entities in water supply and sewerage, maintaining a register of trademark names, creating a database of packaged water and the need for data exchange during confirmation of conformity of packaged drinking water.
