RusAccreditation took part in the 23rd meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Russian-Chinese Commission on preparing regular meetings of the Russian and Chinese heads of government

On August 25, the 23rd meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Russian-Chinese Commission on preparing regular meetings of the Russian and Chinese heads of government was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov and Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Zhong Shan. During the meeting, the ministers of two countries discussed Russian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation, including the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on trade between countries, as well as issues in the field of trade in automotive, agricultural, innovative and electronic products. Deputy Head of RusAccreditation Daria Blokhina took part in the meeting on behalf of the Service.

In particular, the subcommittee supported the intensification of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of accreditation and positively assessed the decision to create a Working Subgroup on Accreditation and Testing Laboratories, which was adopted in December 2019 at the 17th meeting of the Standing Working Group on Standardization, Metrology, Conformity Assessment and inspection control in Xi'an (China).

The working subgroup will become a convenient platform for organizing direct interaction between the accreditation bodies of Russia and China, experts, regulators and business. On the Russian side, the Working Subgroup will include representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, RusAccreditation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rosstandart, the Russian Export Center JSC, and the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation. At the moment, the composition of the Working Subgroup from the Chinese side is being formed.
