This was announced by Dmitry Gogolev, Deputy Head of RusAccreditation, during his speech at the plenary session of the 18th International Exhibition for Laboratory Equipment and Chemical Reagents "Analitika Expo", which took place on September, 23 in Moscow. According to a representative of the Service, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of RusAccreditation, led to a transition to new formats of work.
“In connection with the transition to the remote method of assessing applicants, within a month we have worked out and implemented solutions for the use of video conferencing, developed a manual for remote assessment, conducted a number of training events, completely switched to electronic document management,” said Dmitry Gogolev. As a result, applicants' expenses were reduced by 30% due to the absence of the need for assessor to travel to the place of activity.
Dmitry Gogolev also touched on the topic of the digital transformation of the national accreditation system. Important areas of work on informatization in 2020 are the introduction of an electronic archive of accredited CABs and a configurator of electronic areas of accreditation, expansion of information that can be transmitted through interagency interaction, further refinement of the remote interaction service for participants in the national accreditation system. It is planned to completely switch to a machine-readable format of test reports. This will allow to conduct format-logical control of the loaded data.
