At the site of the autonomous non-profit organization "Digital Economy", a meeting was held between the employees of the Service and the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation with representatives of the largest e-commerce platforms on organizing the exchange of information contained in the open RusAccreditation registers, in the interests of consumers and responsible business. The meeting was attended by representatives of OZON, Wildberries, Yandex.Market, Avito, Aliexpress and the Association of Internet Trade Companies.
Deputy Head of the national accreditation body Alexander Solovyov told that in October 2020, there was launched the online service of RusAccreditation , which allows Russians to check whether the purchased goods, including on the Internet, comply with safety requirements. The service is designed primarily for the benefit and convenience of customers and can provide additional competitive advantages for e-commerce platforms.
More than 3 thousand declarations and about 150 new certificates are received daily in the registers of RusAccreditation. The representative of RusAccreditation noted that the availability of information about valid certificates and declarations at points of sale confirmed that the goods had passed the necessary tests and were safe for consumers. The Service believes that one of the next steps in the development of civilized online retailing should be the integration of information systems of marketplaces with the Federal Government Information System of RusAccreditation (FGIS RusAccreditation).
A preliminary agreement was reached on the creation of a working group on the basis of ANCO "Digital Economy" on the interaction of marketplaces with RusAccreditation, which will deal with issues of automating the process of exchanging information on the certification of socially significant goods entering marketplaces.
