On October 27, within the framework of the 17th International Exhibition of Testing and Measuring Equipment "Testing & Control", the Head of the Division for Accreditation and Competency Confirmation in Ensuring the Unity of Measurements of the Accreditation Department of RusAccreditation Yegor Pilyugin made a presentation at the plenary session of the All-Russian scientific conference "Measurements. Tests. Control".
As part of the speech, a representative of the Service told about the requirements that were established by regulatory legal acts in the field of accreditation for testing and auxiliary equipment, measuring instruments and measurement standards of units of quantities. These requirements must be complied with by accredited in the national accreditation system testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers and metrological services, which carry out their activities in the field of state regulation and ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
There were also considered the prospects for the activities of Russian testing and calibration laboratories within the framework of the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA), the full member of which is the national accreditation body. The conference participants got acquainted with the latest trends in the development of measurement requirements established in the revised documents: ILAC Policy for Measurement Uncertainty in Calibration (ILAC: P14: 09/2020) and ILAC Policy on Metrological Traceability of Measurement Results (P10: 07/2020).
