On November 25, in the format of a videoconference, a meeting of the RusAccreditation Public Council took place. Representatives of business associations in various sectors of the economy and leading experts in the field of conformity assessment exchanged views with the leadership of RusAccreditation and its subordinate National Institute for Accreditation on the main areas of the Council's activities in 2020, formulated the tasks of the advisory body for 2021, discussed the tools and forms of interaction of the Council and departments for the implementation of Government Decree No. 1236.
Head of the RusAccreditation Nazariy Skrypnik noted the fruitful work of the Public Council this year. Close interaction with representatives of the Public Council, committees and working groups helps the Service to promptly receive the most relevant information about the needs of the market and jointly find optimal solutions to problems important for business.
The Head of the national accreditation body called the digital transformation of the national accreditation system (NAS) a fundamental trend in the activities of the Service. This year, a number of normative documents have been adopted, which make it possible to significantly expand the list of data uploaded to the Federal Government Information System of RusAccreditation (FGIS RusAccreditation) when establishing conformity assessment documents. Denis Sukhetsky, Director General of the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation, among the main directions of modernization of FGIS RusAccreditation, noted the development of the System of Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction (SIEI) to enrich FGIS, the creation of digital twins of the NAS participants and an electronic archive of the activities of accredited CABs.
Speaking about the prospects for the work of the Public Council, its chairman Vladimir Salamatov noted that in 2021 it was planned to hold four meetings, at each of which the results of the activities of the committees and working groups under the Council will be considered. The advisory body will continue to participate in improving the electronic services of NAS, including testing the new functionality of FGIS, plans to discuss the directions of expanding the international recognition of NAS, including in the course of cooperation of RusAccreditation with the international organizations ILAC and IAF, new tasks of the Service within the framework of interdepartmental interaction, the development of new standards in the sphere of conformity assessment.
The executive secretary of the Public Council under RusAccreditation - Deputy Head of the Service Dmitry Gogolev thanked the members of the committees and working groups for the constant monitoring of conformity assessment documents in various sectors of the economy and timely informing RusAccreditation if violations were detected in them. He provided an overview of the activities of the Council's working bodies in 2020.
Following the results of the meeting, a decision was made to create new working bodies under the Public Council under RusAccreditation - a committee on digitalization and a working group on the activities of accredited CABs in the field of conformity assessment of fire-fighting products.
