On November 26-27, representatives of RusAccreditation took part in the 18th meeting of the Standing Russian-Chinese Working Group on Standardization, Metrology, Conformity Assessment, and Inspection Control. During the meeting, issues of industry cooperation were discussed, including in the field of conformity assessment of automotive products, in the field of standardization in the agricultural and food industries, in the field of metrological support of energy resources.
At the event, the delegations of two countries discussed cooperation issues within the framework of the specialized Working Subgroup on Accreditation and Testing Laboratories, established in 2019 on the initiative of RusAccreditation. The presentation of the Service emphasized the role of joint proficiency testing programs for priority types of products for both sides and outlined the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in this area. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly formulate an up-to-date agenda and hold the first meeting of the Working Subgroup on Accreditation and Testing Laboratories in the first quarter of 2021.
