A unique educational project concerning the validation and verification of greenhouse gases is being launched
The National Institute of Accreditation of RusAccreditation (NIAR), with the support of RusAccreditation, together with the Peoples ' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and with the participation of the Italian National Accreditation Body ACCREDIA, will hold training session on a unique additional professional training program "Current requirements for the implementation of greenhouse gases validation and verification activities. Features of the application of new versions of international standards (ISO/IEC 17029, ISO 14065, ISO 14064-3)". The program is designed specifically for the establishment of the necessary competencies of the personnel of the Russian authorities for the validation and verification of greenhouse gases, the accreditation criteria of which will enter into force on January 1, 2022.
Special attention in the training program is paid to the study of new versions of the international standards of the ISO 14060 "Greenhouse gases", as well as the experience of applying the international standard ISO/IEC 17029:2019 "Conformity assessment. General principles and requirements for validation and verification authorities".
The training of listeners will be held from 16th of June till 18th in extramural form with the use of distance technologies on the unified educational platform of the national accreditation system. The international module of the program will be held on 17th of June from 9.30 to 18.30 (MSK) in the format of a webinar. The training will be conducted by leading foreign experts - the organizer of CEN/TC 467 concerning climate change, Daniele Pernigotti, and a member of the ISO Committee – the developer of ISO/IEC 17029, Carla Sanz. During the webinar, synchronous translation into Russian will be provided.
Listeners, who have successfully passed the final certification, will be given a certificate of advanced training.
