RusAccreditation informed the international community about the main events of the national accreditation system in the Russian Federation for the second half of 2019.

A review of RusAccreditation news was published in the April issue of ILAC News.

In October 2019, representatives of the Service took part in the final meetings of ILAC-IAF, which were held in Frankfurt (Germany). On the sidelines of the ILAC-IAF meetings, the Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Alexey Khersontsev held bilateral talks with the chairman of IAF, the head of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) Xiao Jianhua, as well as the heads of national accreditation bodies in India, Serbia, and the United Kingdom.

In November 2019, the first three-day training course “ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 Accreditation experience sharing”, organized by the Federal Service for Accreditation under the auspices of APAC, was held in Vladivostok. The seminar was attended by over 30 leading specialists from accreditation bodies of PRC, Vietnam, Cambodia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the Russian Federation.

In December 2019, RusAccreditation approved the policy on the use of the national accreditation system symbol by accredited CABs as a management system document. The policy was designed to unify the requirements for accredited CABs on using the accreditation symbol and the combined mark.

In December 2019, the All-Russian Forum of Accredited CABs – 2019  and the VI All-Russian Congress of Assessors took place in Moscow, where a wide range of issues relevant to establishing the infrastructure of trust  were discussed. The events were organized by the Federal Service for Accreditation.
